Excedify has introduced a new AI-driven APQP management software platform aimed at eliminating the fragmentation that often undermines product and process quality planning in automotive and manufacturing organisations.
The end-to-end system connects Voice of Customer analysis, structured requirements, bills of materials, DFMEA and PFMEA, phase and gate management, timelines, team roles and release readiness within a single, synchronised environment. Instead of relying on spreadsheets and disconnected tools, engineering and quality teams can manage the entire APQP lifecycle in one place, with full traceability and audit readiness.
A core feature of the platform is its embedded AI engine. It identifies requirement gaps, highlights inconsistencies in risk assessments, suggests FMEA improvements and flags potential readiness issues before they escalate into launch delays or cost overruns. By automating cross-checks and surfacing risks early, the system is designed to reduce manual coordination and improve decision quality.
Unlike traditional PLM or QMS platforms, which can be complex and resource-intensive to deploy, the software has been developed with practical execution in mind. It is built to reflect how APQP is carried out in real programmes, supporting both smaller teams and large, multi-supplier environments.
According to Excedify, the platform addresses a persistent challenge in APQP delivery: the loss of traceability when requirements, risks and release processes are managed in isolation. By linking each element dynamically, changes in one area are automatically reflected across the wider programme.
The launch builds on Excedify’s established training portfolio, enabling organisations to align capability development with live execution. The software is available immediately, with early access offered to selected automotive and manufacturing partners.
