Waaree Renewable Technologies Secures Major Solar EPC Order in Rajasthan

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL), a leading player in the renewable energy sector, today announced it has been awarded a significant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) order for a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The contract, valued at over ₹345 crore, was secured from a prominent domestic renewable energy generation company.

The project encompasses a capacity of 300 MW AC / 435 MW DC and is slated for completion in the financial year 2025-26. This substantial undertaking highlights WRTL’s continued growth and commitment to advancing India’s renewable energy landscape.

The comprehensive scope of work for WRTL includes the complete engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the solar power plant. Additionally, the project will involve the development of a 33/220 kV pooling substation. A key feature of the new facility will be the integration of advanced robotic cleaning systems, designed to ensure optimal performance and substantially reduce long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) costs.

This new project reinforces WRTL’s strong position in the utility-scale solar segment and contributes significantly to India’s renewable energy targets.
