Parspec has launched a new project management solution aimed at improving coordination and execution across construction materials distribution, extending its platform beyond quoting into full post-award delivery.
The AI-native system integrates order management, fulfilment, change orders and billing into a single workflow, giving contractors and distributors real-time visibility into project progress, order status and delivery timelines.
Addressing fragmentation in project delivery
The solution targets a longstanding issue in construction distribution: fragmented workflows spread across emails, spreadsheets and disconnected ERP systems. By consolidating these processes, Parspec aims to reduce manual effort and improve communication between distributors, contractors and end customers.
Developed in collaboration with distributors including Rexel, Border States, USESI and Connexion, the platform is designed to reflect real-world project complexity, particularly in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) supply chains.
Parspec said the system integrates directly with existing ERP environments, allowing teams to manage complex orders, track changes and share live updates without duplicating data across systems.
Driving efficiency across the project lifecycle
Early adopters of the combined quoting and project management platform are already reporting expected operational gains. These include a 30 percent increase in project manager capacity, up to 6 percent higher win rates with existing customers, and billing cycles accelerated by as much as 10 percent.
These improvements point to a broader shift in how project delivery is managed within distribution-heavy environments, where coordination failures can lead to delays, cost overruns and reduced margins.
From quoting tool to execution platform
Founded in 2021 and based in San Mateo, Parspec has built its platform around AI-driven workflows for construction materials distribution, serving more than 300 distributors and manufacturer representatives.
The addition of project management capabilities marks a strategic expansion, positioning the platform as an end-to-end system that supports both pre-award and post-award phases of project delivery.
The move follows the company’s $20 million Series A funding round in 2025, which was aimed at scaling its technology and accelerating adoption across the sector.
As construction supply chains become more complex, tools that connect procurement, delivery and project execution are becoming increasingly critical—turning what was once an administrative function into a core part of project performance.
