Nine projects in Powys and Mid Wales have been awarded a share of £400,000 in funding through Innovate UK’s New Innovators in agri-tech and food technology funding competition. This significant investment will support innovative projects across the region, driving growth and strengthening its position as a leader in the agri-tech sector.
The Nurturing Innovation in the Agri-tech and Food Technology Cluster for Mid and North Wales expressed confidence that this funding will empower these projects to drive innovation within the region. “These projects exemplify the innovation and collaboration that define our region,” said Barbara Green, Project Manager for the Agri-Tech and Food Cluster Management Organisation of Mid and North Wales, Growing Mid Wales.
This funding will play a crucial role in advancing research and development in the agri-tech and food technology sectors within Powys and Mid Wales.
