HOERBIGER Expands U.S. Project Delivery Capacity with New Houston Service Hub

HOERBIGER Service, Inc. has strengthened its ability to deliver complex industrial projects in the United States with the opening of a new Service and Training Center in Houston, Texas—the company’s largest facility of its kind in North America.

The new centre is designed to support the full lifecycle of compressor-related projects, from engineering and planning through to execution, maintenance and modernisation. It replaces the previous La Porte facility and brings together technical teams, manufacturing capability and training functions in a single, integrated environment.

The investment forms part of a wider strategy to enhance project delivery across critical energy and industrial infrastructure, where reliability, uptime and safety are central to performance.

Supporting complex project execution

HOERBIGER’s nationwide service platform underpins a range of projects involving compressor system upgrades, reliability optimisation and lifecycle extension. These projects often involve legacy assets, site-specific operating conditions and strict safety requirements, requiring coordinated engineering and project management expertise.

The Houston facility strengthens the company’s ability to deliver these projects more efficiently by improving collaboration, reducing response times and centralising technical capabilities.

“HOERBIGER’s new Houston facility reflects our long-term commitment to the U.S. market, to our customers, and to the technical capabilities required to support critical industrial operations,” said Gary Muller, Operations Manager, HOERBIGER Service, Inc. “That commitment includes people like Maitray Dixit, whose nationwide engineering and project-management work supports compressor reliability, safe operation, modernization efforts, and the successful execution of technically demanding projects.”

Engineering talent at the core of delivery

Alongside infrastructure investment, HOERBIGER is placing emphasis on strengthening its project management and engineering capability. Professionals such as Maitray Dixit play a key role in translating technical solutions into practical outcomes across field projects, supporting customers in oil and gas, petrochemical and related sectors.

Their work spans system upgrades, performance optimisation and project execution, ensuring that technical interventions align with operational requirements and minimise disruption.

“Facilities create capacity, but specialized engineers and project managers create execution,” Muller added. “Our customers rely on HOERBIGER not only for components and services, but also for the technical expertise needed to apply those capabilities in real operating environments. That combination is what allows HOERBIGER to deliver value to customers operating critical compressor assets.”

Expanding long-term project capability

The Houston investment sits alongside plans for a new North American headquarters and manufacturing campus in Delray Beach, Florida, which will further expand HOERBIGER’s project delivery capacity. The 200,000 square foot site is expected to support advanced manufacturing and engineering functions, alongside job creation in the region.

Together, these developments reflect a coordinated approach to scaling project execution capability—combining physical infrastructure, technical expertise and national service coverage.

As demand grows for reliable, high-performance industrial systems, HOERBIGER’s expanded footprint positions it to deliver complex projects with greater consistency, supporting customers across the full lifecycle of critical compressor assets.
