South Australian technology company APC Technology has emerged as a significant contributor to the Australian Army’s LAND 400 Phase 3 Project, collaborating closely with Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) to design, engineer, and manufacture advanced display systems for next-generation combat vehicles.
APC Technology is providing both the Australian Standard Generic Vehicle Architecture (ASGVA) screens and large briefing displays that will be integrated into the Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs) and Joint Fires (JF) vehicles. These mission-critical systems are being designed and manufactured in South Australia, highlighting the state’s increasing importance in delivering sovereign defence capabilities.
Following project mobilization in mid-2024, which initiated a comprehensive design and engineering phase, APC Technology successfully completed a rigorous two-stage prototyping process by early 2025. This process involved meeting, and in several instances surpassing, stringent environmental testing and demanding technical standards.
