Dudley’s Aluminium has announced the successful completion of its latest project, the Nebula scheme at Milton Park in Oxfordshire. The Welsh fabricator collaborated with Barnwood Limited to deliver this cutting-edge development, comprising seven high-tech research and development workspaces across three buildings.
The Nebula project features Cat A standard office spaces, incorporating raised access floors, open ceilings, LED lighting, and advanced heating and cooling systems with fresh air ventilation. Designed to meet BREEAM ‘Excellent’ sustainability standards and achieve an A-rating Energy Performance Certificate, the buildings utilize sustainably sourced glue-laminated timber and vaulted ceilings, accommodating large-scale laboratory and engineering equipment.
Dudley’s Aluminium installed Metal Technology System solutions, including System 17 curtain walling, 4-35Hi windows, and 10-35 Hi doors, contributing to the project’s high-quality and sustainable design.
“We are delighted with the finished result of this project,” stated Colin Shorney, Managing Director at Dudley’s Aluminium. “It has been wonderful to work with Barnwood Limited in our return to Oxfordshire. The benefits and potential of the Nebula scheme are endless, with flexible working spaces and providing a platform for engineering, life sciences and technology businesses to grow in a sustainable environment.”
