Trimble has announced that its ProjectSight construction project management software is now available in selected European markets, including the UK, Ireland and the Benelux region. The rollout introduces a cloud-based, centralised solution tailored to European compliance standards and workflow requirements.
The expansion reflects growing demand among small and mid-sized contractors for accessible digital tools that do not require extensive IT support. ProjectSight is positioned as a scalable platform that combines enterprise-level data management with a simplified user interface designed for both office and site teams.
Addressing fragmentation on site
Construction projects continue to face challenges around fragmented communication and siloed data. ProjectSight provides a shared, real-time environment for managing drawings, RFIs, submittals and site documentation. By consolidating information into a single platform, the system aims to improve collaboration, reduce rework and strengthen accountability.
Matthew Ramage, category leader of project delivery solutions at Trimble, said the platform is designed to balance capability with usability. He noted that digital transformation should not be limited to large contractors, and that tools must be powerful enough for project managers while remaining intuitive for field teams.
AI to reduce administrative burden
The software incorporates AI-enabled features to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy. Tools such as an embedded help chatbot assist with navigation and data entry, while pilot-led updates include voice input for action items and intelligent team list suggestions.
By reducing manual administration, the platform aims to free up time for higher-value project activity, an increasingly important factor as contractors operate under margin pressure and tighter programme controls.
Local compliance, global platform
Although built on a global technology framework, ProjectSight has been localised for European markets. This includes support for local languages, building codes, safety requirements and information management practices.
For contractors operating in regulated environments, alignment with national compliance standards is critical. By embedding these requirements into the platform, Trimble seeks to reduce configuration complexity and support smoother adoption.
ProjectSight is now available by subscription across the UK, Ireland and the Benelux region, with further European expansion expected as demand for digital project delivery solutions continues to grow.
