Intuit Launches AI-Native Construction ERP for Mid-Market Firms

Intuit has unveiled a construction edition of Intuit Enterprise Suite, positioning it as the company’s first industry-specific, AI-native ERP tailored to the $2 trillion construction sector.

Designed for mid-market construction businesses, the new solution brings project management, financials and operational workflows into a single platform. The aim is to reduce fragmentation, improve cash flow visibility and provide real-time performance insights across multiple projects and entities. The construction capabilities are also available as a module for QuickBooks Online Advanced customers.

According to Intuit, construction firms continue to face challenges stemming from disconnected systems, manual processes and limited financial oversight. The company cites research showing that 93 percent of construction leaders believe technology can significantly increase productivity and mitigate rising costs.

Ashley Still, EVP and GM, Mid-Market at Intuit, said construction businesses often struggle with siloed data and limited visibility across projects. “We’re investing heavily in industry solutions, starting with construction, so these businesses can benefit from an AI-native ERP that automates workflows, surfaces trends and manages projects from proposal to payment,” she said.

The construction edition includes a Project Management Agent to monitor cash flow and profitability, enhanced project budgeting tools with AI-driven insights, proposal generation with integrated e-signatures, cost group tracking aligned to industry standards and AIA-style invoicing functionality. These features sit alongside the broader ERP capabilities of Intuit Enterprise Suite, including multi-entity dashboards and AI-powered analytics.

Chad Shaules, CEO of Cornerstone Development Company, said the platform provides clearer operational insight. “If you don’t understand your business, you are flying blind. Intuit Enterprise Suite gives you the foundation to understand performance across the organisation,” he said.

Alongside the construction launch, Intuit announced wider enhancements to Enterprise Suite. These include an expanded Sales Tax Agent with a filing pre-check tool, modernised business intelligence dashboards, deeper third-party integrations and improved migration tools for firms transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop.

The construction edition is currently available in beta for Enterprise Suite customers in the sector at no additional cost and as a paid add-on for QuickBooks Online Advanced users.
