Wellingtone, a trusted project management partner to organisations in every sector, announced today that it has won the global 2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award for Project and Portfolio Management (PPM). The award places Wellingtone amongst a worldwide field of top Microsoft partners recognised for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft’s technology.
On announcing the news, Wellingtone’s Managing Director Vince Hines commented,
“We could not be more thrilled to receive this award from Microsoft. Although we have been transforming our customers’ project and portfolio management capabilities since 2001, this is only our second year of entering the Partner of the Year Awards. In 2024, we were named as a finalist, and this year we are the global winners in our category. I feel this reflects our continued growth and established reputation not just as a vendor, but as a genuine project management partner to our customers, supported by our collaboration with Microsoft and our commitment to harnessing Microsoft’s technology to power the future of work.”
The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognise Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft Cloud applications, services, devices, and AI innovation during the past year. Awards were classified in various categories, with honourees chosen from more than 4,600 nominations across more than 100 countries. Wellingtone was recognised for providing outstanding project and portfolio management solutions and services underpinned by the company’s enterprise AI ready Power App, Wellingtone Accelerator+ for Planner & Project. “We support a worldwide customer base, operating from offices in the UK, Europe, Asia, and now the US,” said Baz Khinda, Wellingtone’s Commercial Director.
“By combining Microsoft’s capabilities with our own deep PPM expertise, we are delivering on our ambitious mission to make great project management accessible for all. Most recently, we have extended that mission to Latin America via our Spanish office, and North America via our office in Atlanta. This regional expansion is just one of the many milestones that we have delivered in the past twelve months. Across all our territories, we are bringing the power of Planner to organisations seeking a fast-tracked roadmap to project and portfolio maturity, and we are all delighted that Microsoft has recognised our achievements.”
Vince agreed, adding, “As the only Microsoft Gold Partner that is also an APM accredited training provider and AXELOS P3M3 consulting partner, we are passionate about supporting organisations through their project and portfolio management journey. Wellingtone Accelerator+ for Planner & Project extends Microsoft Planner into a fully customisable, enterprise AI ready PPM solution. Every day, we support implementations with groundbreaking training, industry-leading expertise, inspiring events, and Microsoft-centric resources that help our customer community to learn, share, and grow. We never stand still, and we are all so excited to continue pushing PPM boundaries for our customers by combining Microsoft’s capabilities with our own.”
“Congratulations to all the winners and finalists of the 2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, said Nicole Dezen, Chief Partner Officer and Corporate Vice President at Microsoft. “This year, our partners harnessed the transformative power of Microsoft’s Cloud and AI platforms to deliver transformative solutions that redefine the boundaries of innovation. The energy and ingenuity across our ecosystem continue to inspire us. The 2025 honorees exemplify what’s possible when technology and vision unite to empower customers around the world.”
