JJ-LAPP, a joint venture between Jebsen & Jessen Group and LAPP Holding Asia, has announced a strategic partnership with Tonking New Energy to accelerate the development and deployment of floating solar energy projects across the ASEAN region.
The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that outlines their commitment to delivering comprehensive floater solutions specifically tailored to the unique needs of floating solar installations in ASEAN countries.
Floating solar technology involves the installation of photovoltaic panels on water bodies such as reservoirs and lakes, offering a dual benefit of land conservation and enhanced energy efficiency through the natural cooling properties of water.
This collaboration will leverage Tonking New Energy’s specialized expertise in innovative floating solar solutions and JJ-LAPP’s established track record in supporting renewable energy initiatives within the ASEAN market.
