Ingeteam to Supply Technology for 137 MW of European Energy Solar Projects in Australia

Spanish power conversion specialist Ingeteam announced today that it has been awarded two contracts by Danish renewables developer European Energy A/S to supply its advanced technology for a total of 137 MW of solar farm projects currently under development in Australia.

The agreements will see Ingeteam provide its cutting-edge solutions for the recently launched 106 MW Lancaster project in Victoria and the 31 MW Mulwala plant in New South Wales. Both solar farms are anticipated to commence operations next year and are projected to collectively generate approximately 255 GWh of clean electricity annually, enough to power an estimated 54,000 Australian households, according to Ingeteam.

Under the terms of the contracts, Ingeteam will supply 77 units of its INGECON SUN Power B Series photovoltaic inverters. These inverters will be integrated into 22 medium-voltage transformer substations. The scope of Ingeteam’s supply also encompasses equipment commissioning services and comprehensive plant control electronics.
