Hi-Tech Construction has announced a vocational skills training initiative aimed at empowering approximately 60 individuals from communities directly impacted by the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road project. This initiative forms part of the project’s comprehensive social impact and livelihood restoration plan.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, Hi-Tech Construction will conduct a screening exercise to identify suitable candidates for the vocational training program. The screening is scheduled to take place on March 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eti-Osa Local Government Secretariat’s Skill Acquisition Centre.
“Giving back to the communities impacted by major infrastructure projects is not just a responsibility but a necessity,” stated David Omaghomi, Community Relations Manager at LCCH, Hi-Tech Construction. “Through this vocational skills training, we are not only restoring livelihoods but also positioning individuals for greater economic opportunities.”
This initiative underscores Hi-Tech Construction’s commitment to fostering sustainable development and supporting the communities in which it operates. The vocational skills training program is designed to provide participants with valuable skills that will enhance their employability and contribute to their long-term economic stability.
