Jakson Green and Blueleaf Energy Partner to Develop 1 GW of Solar Power in India

Jakson Green, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, and Blueleaf Energy, a global renewable energy investment and development firm, today announced a strategic partnership to develop 1 gigawatt (GW) of solar power projects in India.

Under this partnership, the companies will jointly develop a portfolio of three solar projects in Rajasthan, India. These projects, comprising Intra State Transmission System and Inter State Transmission System projects, have secured 25-year power purchase agreements through competitive bidding processes with RUVNL, SECI, and NHPC.

The projects are expected to be commissioned progressively between 2025 and 2026. Upon completion, the portfolio is projected to generate approximately 1,800 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of clean energy annually, powering over 1.5 million households and eliminating an estimated 22 million tonnes of carbon emissions over a 25-year period.
